Domestic Shipping Policy

Estimate Shipping During CHECKOUT on the "Basket Contents" page you'll see a green button to estimate shipping costs based on USPS (U.S. Postal Service "real time" delivery estimates) for Priority Mail, which we have found to be the most reliable service for shipping maple candy. Though we use USPS to estimate delivery costs and for the lion's share of our shipments, on occasion your order may arrive either via UPS or FedEx depending on which service we believe is most reliable for the particular items purchased and delivery location. If you prefer one service over another, you can indicate so in the "Special Instructions" text box, also during CHECKOUT.

Domestic shipping Our shipping and handling charge is intended to compensate our merchants for the cost of processing your order, handling and packaging the products you have purchased, and delivering them to you and/or the recipients you designate as expeditiously as possible. ZONE 3 - APO AK AZ CA CO HI ID KS MT NE ND NM NV OK OR SD TX UT WA WY. Days on shipping truck; 5-7 days.

In addition, since we may be drop-shipping parts of your order from different locations in Vermont, your order may arrive in more than one package and not all at the same time. Rest assured though, unless we contact you, your complete order is on the way and will arrive shortly.

Please Note: During hot summer months we may hold your order so that ships on a Monday and therefore does not sit in a warehouse over the weekend.

We are now pleased to offer international shipping to Canada, Great Britain, Japan, and Australia. For deliveries to other countries, please call 800-507-7721 for a shipping cost estimate.


We want you to be happy with your PIECES OF VERMONT® purchase. If that's not the case, we will work hard to make things right. Should you simply change your mind about any purchase, please return it within 30 days, along with the order number and date of purchase for an exchange or a full refund of your purchase price. Simply send us an eMail or give us a call (800-507-7721) so that we may provide you with our Merchant's return address and RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization) shipping instructions. Your complete satisfaction is important to us and we'll do everything we can to rectify any disappointing situation.
