Who is Beth? Here's the story...
The Vermont Maple Granola Company was founded in 2008 by two moms, Beth and Lisa, with a knack for making uncommonly delicious granola. Pure maple syrup made by our neighbors here in Southern Vermont has always been the key ingredient, along with our commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Beth has been steering the ship since 2010 after Lisa moved back to her home state of Massachusetts to raise her children closer to her family. In 2012, Beth moved granola headquarters out of the space in Manchester Center where the two partners had originally located the bakery, and into a new commercial kitchen created at Beth's home in the town of Danby.
Our company still has close ties with the community of Manchester, where we're fortunate to have a thriving farmers' market scene, "Buy Local" movement, and friendly visitors touring the area who are eager to sample and take home with them a taste of Vermont. We love interacting with our customers and hearing how much they enjoy our products and have made them part of their breakfast routines. This is truly what inspires and motivates us to keep on mixing up each small batch.
Now six years (and three children) in to this adventure, Beth continues to cook up some of Vermont's finest granola, with a little help from some friends and her love of the flexibility that comes from owning her own business.
