We consider maple popcorn a specialty foods "unsung hero" because sometimes there's a food that has such history and universal appeal that no matter when you serve it (during the BIG GAME, for family movie night, for a quick treat when friends stop by, etc.), everyone loves it! And when you're putting together holiday gifts, maple popcorn is a great choice, especially as a stocking stuffer. Kids love maple flavored popcorn! "Fudge and maple candy are popular, but it's the popcorn that brings customers back," say owner Chad Metayer.

Well, a nostalgic red and white striped popcorn box of course. If you want to make movie night extra fun, pick up some old-fashioned popcorn boxes such as the one shown here. You can find them easily online, but we've found them at our local Dollar Tree store as well. Made of plastic and dishwasher safe, you can use them over and over again.
