They have expanded that commitment as the first PIECES OF VERMONT® merchant to create luxury, premium Chocolate-Maple candy. We call it, "Chocolate-Maple Fusion".

"It's a new product that isn't well known yet, so our challenge in to bring this delicious designer candy to as many candy enthusiasts as possible," says PIECES OF VERMONT owner Rick Smith. "Everyone that's tried a bite of chocolate and maple together loves the flavor combination."

Champ is the name given to a reputed lake monster living in Lake Champlain. According to the legend and eyewitness accounts, a lake monster dwells in the 125-mile long body of water that separates New York and Vermont.	CHAMP - The Monster of all Maple Candy® 3.0 oz. As you can see, we have a lot of projects in the works, and we couldn't be more excited. This is just the beginning! We have candy-makers working on the candies, artists and candy mold-makers working on the candy molds, and packaging experts designing all new packaging. How it all got started...

The chocolate-dipped heart wasn't the first maple sugar candy that we experimented adding chocolate to, but it was the first to be an instant sales success. We published a Valentine's Day gifts newsletter a couple years ago and within hours we knew we were onto something! But as we attempted to develop more Chocolate-Maple candies we discovered that some candy shapes simply don't lend themselves to being coated with chocolate, and the maple candy shape was hidden. That's when the concept of surrounding maple candy with a bar of chocolate came about. Our customers could still enjoy delicious chocolate and pure maple candy, without losing the candies unique shape in the process. Now we're in the process of developing several other maple candy shapes to surround with chocolate in what we are calling Chocolate-Maple Fusion,^TM or the union of two delicious candy treats.

Designer Candy

Chocolate-Maple candies are individually made and packaged as designer candy gifts. Share them with family and friends, co-workers and business associates. They're perfect for small dinner parties and socials, and as holiday gifts. Made with pure maple candy these treats are a fun, healthier candy for kids.
